An e-wallet casino accepts deposits and pays withdrawals through an online wallet such as Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity or Jeton instead of your bank card or account. E-wallet withdrawals are among the fastest fiat payouts once the casino approves them, but many casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from their welcome bonuses. Prepaid vouchers such as Paysafecard work only for deposits.

This guide compares the wallets you will meet at international casinos, shows which brands in our directory accept them, quotes each operator’s bonus exclusions word for word in substance, and explains the checks that slow an e-wallet payout down.

These brands accept e-wallets in selected countries. None is open to players in the US or the UK, and the cards list further exclusions. Read the bonus terms: at every brand above, some e-wallet deposits do not qualify for the welcome offer.

Which e-wallets do international casinos accept?

The e-wallets that appear most often at the casinos we checked are Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton and AstroPay, with Paysafecard and similar vouchers for deposits only. Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard belong to the payments group Paysafe. The exact list depends on the operator group and on your country, so open the cashier or payments page before you sign up.

Wallet Who runs it Deposit Withdrawal Note
Skrill Paysafe (Skrill Limited is authorised by the UK FCA, FRN 900001) Yes Yes Often excluded from casino bonuses
Neteller Paysafe (EU entity regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland) Yes Yes Often excluded from casino bonuses
Paysafecard Paysafe (prepaid, Central Bank of Ireland) Yes, with a PIN No Withdraw by another method
MiFinity MiFinity group Yes Yes Excluded from bonuses at Frenwall brands
Jeton Jeton group Yes Yes Accepted for bonuses at Elmst brands, excluded at Frenwall
AstroPay AstroPay group Yes, card or wallet Where supported Common at Frenwall and Hundise brands
Payz (formerly ecoPayz) Renamed in 2023 Where listed Where listed Some casinos still show the old name

Licences of the smaller wallets depend on the company and country that serve you. Before you open a wallet, read its own terms to see which entity holds your money and whether it accepts gambling transactions where you live.

Why do casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from bonuses?

Casinos exclude some e-wallets from bonuses mainly to limit bonus abuse: wallet money can be moved, withdrawn and redeposited quickly across accounts, which makes wagering rules harder to enforce. Processing costs and anti-money-laundering controls play a part too. The exclusion is a promotion rule set by each operator, not a rule of the wallet, so it varies by brand.

Operator group (licence) Brands in this directory E-wallet deposits that do NOT qualify for casino bonuses
Elmst Limited (Malta) Spin Sweet, Slot Pony, Slot Mojo Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard
Frenwall Limited (Estonia) Jackpot Cow, Winsly, Slot Owl, Reko Casino Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller, Skrill
Hundise Limited (Anjouan) Goldroll, Unlimit, Kim Casino Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard and other e-wallets named in the bonus terms

The rule usually bites on the first deposit, when the welcome match is at stake. If you want the bonus, make that deposit by instant bank transfer or card, then switch to your wallet for later deposits and withdrawals, provided the casino allows withdrawals to a different method in your name.

How fast are e-wallet withdrawals?

Once the casino approves a withdrawal, an e-wallet usually receives it within minutes, faster than a card and often faster than an ordinary bank transfer. The casino’s processing time is still the bottleneck: our brands’ terms allow up to 72 hours. The Frenwall terms describe e-wallets as instant after processing, and Slot Hype’s payments page says the same for MiFinity and Jeton.

Method After the casino approves Moving the money on to your bank
Skrill / Neteller Usually minutes Wallet withdrawal fees and currency margins may apply
MiFinity / Jeton Instant after approval at the brands we checked Depends on the wallet’s own terms
Paysafecard Not available Use another method for payouts
Instant bank, for comparison Minutes to the same working day Already in your bank
Card, for comparison Up to a few working days Already on your card account

Remember the second leg. Money in a wallet is not yet money in your bank, and moving it out can carry a fee or a currency conversion margin set by the wallet provider. Check its fee page before you choose it as your main casino method.

Step by step: your first withdrawal to an e-wallet

  1. Use the same wallet for deposit and withdrawal. Casinos pay out to methods in your own name and normally to the method you deposited with.
  2. Match the names. The wallet must be registered in the same name as your casino account, or the payout will be refused.
  3. Verify both sides. The casino will ask for ID and proof of address; the wallet may also require you to verify before you can receive or withdraw larger sums.
  4. Wager each deposit once. The brands in our list require it before any withdrawal.
  5. Stay under the caps. EUR 5,000 per 24 hours and EUR 20,000 per 30 days at the Elmst, Frenwall and Hundise groups.

Paysafecard and vouchers: deposit-only methods

Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher: you buy a code with cash or online and enter the 16-digit PIN at the casino. It keeps your bank details out of the casino entirely, which some players value, but the casino cannot send money back to a PIN. Plan your withdrawal route before you deposit, because you will need a bank account, card or wallet in your own name to get winnings out. Vouchers such as Neosurf, Flexepin and CashtoCode, listed at the Hundise brands, work the same way.

Are e-wallets safer than cards at a casino?

E-wallets add a layer between the casino and your bank: the casino sees your wallet account, not your card number or IBAN. That reduces how widely your banking details travel. It does not change the casino’s own trustworthiness, which still depends on its licence and terms. Two practical points: switch on two-factor login at the wallet, and keep only the money you plan to play with in it. A wallet balance is electronic money, which regulated providers must safeguard, but it is not covered by a bank deposit guarantee scheme.

Question E-wallet Card Instant bank
Does the casino see your bank details? No Card number via the payment processor Account details for the payout
Usually bonus-eligible at our brands? Often not Yes Yes
Payout speed after approval Minutes Up to a few working days Minutes to same day
Extra fees Wallet fees to move money out Possible cash-advance fee on credit cards Usually none
Deposit-only? No, except vouchers No No

Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut: wallets that are really cards

Apple Pay and Google Pay appear in the cashiers of Spin Sweet, Jackpot Cow, Kim Casino and other brands in our list, and they are often lumped in with e-wallets. Technically they are a way of paying with the card stored on your phone. The casino receives a card payment, the bonus rules for cards apply, and withdrawals go back to the card or to another method in your name, because Apple Pay itself cannot receive a casino payout. Revolut is listed as a separate option at several brands; it behaves like a bank account with an app, so check whether the casino pays out to it by bank transfer.

These phone wallets are convenient for deposits and usually bonus-eligible, but they do not give you the separation from your bank that Skrill or Neteller do.

Currency: the hidden cost in e-wallet play

The Hundise brands process deposits and withdrawals in euros only, and the Elmst and Frenwall brands serve most European visitors in euros too. If your wallet holds another currency, the wallet converts at its own rate, and it may do so twice: once on the way in and once on the way out. On a EUR 500 round trip, a conversion margin of a few percent each way costs more than many players lose to fees elsewhere. Hold a euro balance in the wallet if it allows one, and read its fee table before you choose it as your casino method.

E-wallets by licence

Where a casino is licensed affects which wallets it can offer. Maltese and Estonian brands work with regulated European payment companies and tend to offer Jeton, AstroPay and MiFinity alongside bank and card. The Anjouan-licensed Hundise brands list the widest range, including Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard. Curaçao-licensed crypto casinos lean on coins instead, with some fiat options. Our licence hubs explain the rest: MGA, Estonia and Anjouan.

Five e-wallet mistakes that cost players money

  • Depositing with Skrill or Neteller to claim a welcome bonus that excludes them.
  • Opening the wallet in a different name or with a different email address from the casino account.
  • Depositing with Paysafecard without a withdrawal method ready.
  • Forgetting the wallet’s own fee for moving money to the bank.
  • Leaving a large balance in the wallet, where it is not covered like a bank deposit.

Choosing between the brands above

If you want the widest choice of wallets, Goldroll and Unlimit list almost every major e-wallet and voucher, with the same withdrawal caps and a 25x match bonus that you would claim with a bank deposit. If you prefer an EU licence, Winsly under Estonia and Spin Sweet under Malta accept Jeton, and Winsly also takes MiFinity, though Frenwall excludes both from its bonuses. Kim Casino sits in between, with MiFinity, Jeton and the mobile wallets Apple Pay and Google Pay.

For every payment method side by side, open the payment methods hub; for bank payouts see instant bank casinos. All brands and licences are on the directory front page.

Frequently asked questions

Which e-wallets can I use at international casinos?

At the brands we checked, the most common are Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton and AstroPay, plus Paysafecard and other vouchers for deposits. The exact list depends on the operator and your country.

Why can I not get a bonus when I deposit with Skrill or Neteller?

Many casinos exclude certain e-wallet deposits from bonuses to limit bonus abuse and costs. Elmst brands exclude Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard; Frenwall brands exclude Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller and Skrill. Use a bank transfer or card if you want the offer.

Are e-wallet withdrawals instant?

They are usually instant once the casino approves them. The casino’s own processing, which our brands allow to take up to 72 hours, is the main wait. Moving the money from the wallet to your bank can add time and a fee.

Can I withdraw to Paysafecard?

No. Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher for deposits only. You need a bank account, card or e-wallet in your own name to receive winnings.

Who owns Skrill and Neteller?

Both belong to Paysafe, which also runs Paysafecard. Skrill Limited is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and Paysafe serves EU customers through entities regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Is Apple Pay an e-wallet at online casinos?

Not in the usual sense. Apple Pay and Google Pay pay with the card stored on your phone, so the casino treats the deposit as a card payment, card bonus rules apply, and withdrawals go back to the card or another method in your name.

Which e-wallet is best for casino withdrawals?

The one the casino accepts for both deposits and withdrawals, in your own name and in euros, with low fees for moving money to your bank. At our brands, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and Jeton all pay out quickly after approval; Paysafecard cannot receive payouts.

What happened to ecoPayz?

ecoPayz renamed itself Payz in 2023. Some casino cashiers and terms still use the old name, so treat the two as the same wallet.
